Yangon International School develops students into lifelong learners who are academically well-prepared, socially responsible, culturally sensitive, and personally fulfilled.
Early Childhood
For children ages 3 to 5, we offer a nurturing, play-based and inquiring learning environment designed to spark curiosity and growth. Our passionate educators focus on building a solid foundation, setting the stage for lifelong academic and social-emotional success. We emphasize the importance of community, teaching collaboration and inclusivity from an early age. Enriching experiences in art, music, physical education, STEAM, and Myanmar Studies provide a well-rounded, holistic early childhood education.
YIS Early Childhood students learn through active exploration in an environment which is rich in materials and opportunities to converse, socialize, work, play, and connect with others. During a typical early childhood day there will be structured and unstructured periods enabling children to learn at their own pace.
