MATERIAL LIST FOR
2025-2026
We request that all elementary students please prepare the following supplies before the first day of the academic year. If you have any questions, please contact our Admissions Office at or the Elementary Academic Office at
General Supplies:
- 1 Reusable Water Bottle
- 1 Lunch Box
- 1 Backpack
- 1 Hat (for use during PE, field trips, or swimming lessons)
- Sunscreen
- 1 Set of headphones that includes a microphone (which students can use with a tablet or laptop)
- 1 Change of Clothes
- Notebooks (Please check with the YIS Student Shop for the correct subject area and grade level notebooks.)
Physical Education Supplies:
- Athletic shoes with a *closed toe and heel.
- PE Clothing (lightweight shirts and shoes that dry quickly).
- A one-piece bathing suit or swimming shorts and shirt for female students.
- Swimsuit or *swimming trunks for male students.
- Sunscreen
Music Program Supplies:
- Students will be required to wear white and/or black clothing for performances.
*For safety reasons, we do not recommend Crocs or sandals, and request that students not wear PE or non-swimming shorts in the pool.
