We merge best practices and standards from the United States, Canada and other countries. Our high school program features the International Baccalaureate high school diploma program that is both academically rigorous and centered upon the development of well-rounded world citizens. Our teachers take their role as advisors of young people seriously through their interactions and support of students in their classes each day. A majority of our teachers come to YIS with higher degrees from top universities worldwide, and they are committed to continuous improvement and learning-both for their students and themselves!<br \/>\nYIS parents are led by the PAC (the YIS parent organization) which represents parents in each grade level. Parent involvement is an integral part of the YIS philosophy.
